Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were good, spacious, and airy with a large bathroom. However, there was a booger wiped up the wall and the shower head was cracked. Despite these issues, Becky Elliot provided exceptional service and even offered us a free drink after apologizing profusely. The location was superb with a lovely view, plenty of seating overlooking the lake, and easy access to the area. The dining experience was good overall, although the waitstaff was slow with tea and coffee service.
The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms with all necessary amenities, although the property shows its age. The staff is warm, welcoming, and made efforts to resolve room issues, yet they couldn't fully solve them. The location, set amidst lovely countryside with a beautiful lake, is ideal for a relaxing stay, despite being a taxi ride away from town. The dining experience is pleasant, with good service and polite staff despite being busy. Overall, a very enjoyable experience marred only by some room issues.
My stay at the hotel was more luxurious than I expected, with incredibly spacious rooms in a lovely old house setting. However, the lack of natural lighting and room servicing were minor downsides. The staff's friendliness and efficiency were a significant credit to the hotel, contributing to a pleasant experience overall.
